I've been a resident of Japan since 2007, but I grew up in the United States. I’m also a resident of Indonesia as of 2024. Living in different cultures has shaped my perspective and enriched my life. In addition to photography, I work as a renewable energy and sustainability systems (RESS) consultant and as an entrepreneur. This diverse background has given me a unique outlook for which I am grateful. Over the years, I've had the privilege of capturing over 2,800 photo sessions. But here's the thing: while photography itself is definitely a passion, what truly drives me is the ability to immortalize moments, emotions, and stories that truly matter. These are precious details that would otherwise fade away with time. Think of me as your visual poet, a guardian of memories that allows others to relive your most cherished experiences.
In addition to my work here in Jakarta, I am the founder of Bali Photographer, a vibrant photography and videography platform based in Bali, Indonesia. With over 55 professional photographers and videographers, we capture a wide array of events and personal stories across Bali. This parallel experience enriches my approach to photography, bringing a wider perspective to every shot I take. While Jakarta Photographer remains focused on serving the unique beauty and culture of Jakarta, my diverse exposure ensures that every moment is captured with a broadened vision.
